Membership:

ERRIN welcomes new members that can fully engage in and add value to its networking activities. Please see “About ERRIN” for the benefits of membership. For more information on joining ERRIN please contact the Secretariat, or download the ERRIN pro forma. This has to be signed and returned to the Secretariat by regular, not registered mail. By your signature you testify that your organisation acknowledges ERRIN's internal rules.

Since January 2007, ERRIN is established as a non-profit making membership association (asbl) under Belgian law. ERRIN offers 2 types of membership: 

Full membership: 

• Brussels based representative office of regional administration, local administration, university, educational institute,  research centre
• Private body with a mandate in regional development and involved in development and/or implementation of research and innovation policies
• Annual fee: € 2124 (2010) for regular members*
• Annual fee € 5442 (2010) for Management Board members that are annually election by ERRIN members

Associated membership:

• Organisations such as European Networks, trade associations, academic institutions, businesses
• Non-governmental organisations that do not have a representation in Brussels and that have at least a limited mandate in regional development and are involved in the development and/or implementation of research and innovation policies in their country/region
• Annual fee: €1622 per Working Group (2010)*

Associated members have the same rights to ERRIN services as full members with the exception that they cannot be elected to the Management Board of the association.

* Membership fees are indexed annually according to the Belgian inflation rate.


Cancellation of membership:

In line with the ERRIN Internal Rules, article 8.3.2, cancellation of membership must be received in writing by the Chair and ERRIN Director by registered post at the latest by 1 September in the year preceding the resignation.

ERRIN Membership Sign:

ERRIN members can now order ERRIN membership signs for their office. These will display to your guests and colleagues that you are a proud ERRIN member and, therefore, qualify as a "Smart Office". The signs are for indoor and outdoor use. They come with round or sharp corners (2 options). The price is € 20 + TVA (sharp corner) or € 43,80 + TVA (round corner).
