The event will present the key results of the SCOUT project which was investigating the situation and perspectives concerning highly automated driving (Level 4/5) in Europe. One of the key results is the Roadmaps on Level 4/5 implementation. A methodology for the analysis used by SCOUT looks at technical, legal, economic, social and human factors that influence the further development of automated transport technologies. SCOUT shows how to approach the sometimes complicated interactions between these layers in order to be able to assess progress in technology development taking into account hurdles and opportunities. The generated SCOUT Roadmaps will be discussed by experts, and conclusions for the further development will be drawn at this final project workshop.
