New EKLIPSE calls for knowledge are now open!

EKLIPSE is developing a European Mechanism to answer requests from policy makers and other societal actors on biodiversity and ecosystem services related issues. A large part of the EKLIPSE budget is made available to the wider community through open calls so that policy-makers and other societal actors can tell us what they need, and can discuss with us how we can best meet their needs to make better decisions for our environment. There are now three open "Calls for Knowledge", on the following topics: Is missing knowledge hampering the effectiveness of approaches that aim to restore biodiversity and ecosystem service function and services? How can we better integrate research and knowledge on biodiversity and ecosystem services from the global to the European level, and vice versa? How are European energy policies affecting biodiversity and ecosystem services in countries globally? If you are interested in any of these calls, please take a look at the relevant call text available at www.eklipse-mechanism.eu/open_calls.
