Project description: University of Wolverhampton (UK) together with ESTIA- Ecole Supérieure des Technologies Industrielles Avancées (France) are working to develop an international Master Degree Programme in Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Processes. This Strategic Partnership proposes the creation of a flexible learning pathway in line with the needs of learners and companies. It will provide a joint study modules program between Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training, combining high level expertise in the subject of advance manufacturing, design and a project-based experience at leading companies to accelerate students' engineering and leadership skills, providing enterprises innovation, expertise and added value. It will provide students with opportunities to gain additional skills by studying and training abroad. The curriculum will include subjects in manufacturing processes and process control, factory systems and supply chains, business fundamentals and the product development process.  Several subjects include hands-on labs and most of which have significant project components.  Outside of the formal classroom there are numerous activities including interactions with industry leaders, manufacturing entrepreneurs, and thought leaders. Planned Activities: Surveys, comparative analysis and evidence-gathering, studies of real life cases to assess the needs of skills and competences in the European AM Studies. Development of a joint curriculum, integrating different learning modes. The creation of learning and training materials together with methods, pedagogical approaches and tools. Capacity buildings and networking activities (summer schools, multiplier events, etc).   Expected outputs:  Report on current skills needs on the European AM and Entrepreneurship studies offer. One on-campus course adapted for both Master degree programmes and CPD training programmes. A virtual platform for digital learning. The modules and the course will be adapted for, implemented, and piloted on the virtual platform - openly and freely available. Multiplier Events at the end of the project.
