The Digital Ocean Forum 2024 will take place on Thursday 13 June, both in-person in Brussels and online. It will be the occasion to unveil the prototype of the Digital Twin of the Ocean (DTO) and to showcase what the EU DTO, as a Commission public service, can do for the sustainable development of our blue economies and the management of our ocean resources.

The forum will bring together experts, stakeholders, policymakers and interested citizens in the co-design and co-creation of the European Digital Twin of the Ocean – the draft agenda is already available here.

The forum is co-organised by the European Commission, the Flanders Marine Institute and Mercator Ocean International under the auspices of the Belgian Presidency of the European Council.

The EU Mission Ocean and Water Secretariat welcomes participation and engagement in the Digital Ocean Forum 2024, given the importance of the development of the EU Digital Twin of the Ocean as a key enabler of the Mission.
