The French Ministry for the Economy and Finance and the European Commission have the pleasure of inviting you to the 2018 edition of the "Stakeholder Forum" in the context of the implementation of the "Digitising European Industry" initiative.    The Stakeholder Forum is a yearly public event co-organised by the EC and the Member States; it is the key European conference addressed to all stakeholders interested in digitisation of industry, from the entire value chain. It is also an essential part of the coordination framework between the various actions on the digitisation of the industry at national, regional and EU level known as the "European Platform of National Initiatives". By attending this event, you will have the opportunity to influence and contribute to the development of European policy on digitisation, and being informed on all the latest developments.    The 2nd Stakeholder Forum will be co-located with "Global Industrie 2018" trade fair, a large 4-day trade fair, which will be freely accessible for participants of the Stakeholder Forum.     The Stakeholder Forum will last 1.5 days.  Day 1 starts in the afternoon of 27 March, with high-level policy presentations and discussions in the plenary session; the French Minister Bruno Le Maire and the European Commissioner Mariya Gabriel are expected to deliver opening speeches.  Day 2 will be dedicated to parallel workshops involving a broad range of stakeholders, focused on the themes of Digital Innovation Hubs, Public-Private Partnerships, Digital Skills, and rolling out of Digital Industrial Platforms. A plenary session at the end of the day will draw the conclusions.    An exhibition area will offer the possibility to get more information on national and European initiatives, organise presentations for small groups, and showcase successful examples of the use of digital technologies.
