The Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) has published its Annual Work Programme for 2024. Eighteen topics for the next call for project proposals are announced and 213 million euros will be dedicated to advancing competitive circular bio-based industries in Europe across 18 topics.

The CBE JU will provide insights into the upcoming call for project proposals 2024 during their Info Day 2024, taking place on 23 April 2024 at the Charlemagne Building in Brussels. This in-person event offers networking opportunities to engage with other CBE JU community members. You can discover more information on the CBE JU's Annual Work Programme 2024 on this page.

Are you considering applying for the CBE JU 2024 call for project proposals? Join the CBE JU networking platform to present your organisation, pitch your project ideas, look for partners, offer your services, and, more importantly, get in touch with other CBE JU community members! The platform is open until the call submission deadline on 18 September 2024. As of 22 February 2024, you will be able to book meetings with other participants on the platform, both for the 23 April event and online before and after the event.

In the past years, ERRIN's Bioeconomy Working Group has closely followed up on the Circular Biobased Europe Joint Undertaking and facilitated its members with project development sessions. In 2024, the Working Group continues the dialogue with the Partnership's Secretariat with the aim of strengthening the regional involvement in the partnership and foster the regional deployment of funded projects.
