Provide an interactive preview of the sensemaking approach
During the launch event, participants will discover the full range of services that CO-WATERS is developing and rolling out between 2026 and 2029 to support Coalition members.
These include opportunities to strengthen networking and peer learning through thematic working groups, knowledge exchange activities and a structured Twinning Programme. CO-WATERS will also offer hands-on training and capacity building, supporting territories in developing robust Transition Plans and strengthening key skills such as systems thinking, stakeholder engagement and sustainable finance.
Participants will also learn more about CO-WATERS support for citizen and stakeholder engagement, including Blue Climathons and practical tools such as the Local Stakeholder Engagement Workbook. In addition, the service offer includes guidance on funding and financing, with a dedicated financing guide, thematic webinars and future opportunities to connect with investors and solution providers.
Finally, the event will introduce the development of a Label which will recognise territories’ commitment and progress towards the Mission objectives through a structured approach based on stakeholder engagement and a Transition Plan.
The second part of the event will offer participants a first interactive preview of the upcoming Knowledge Exchange Workshops. Through short inputs from pilot territories and facilitated discussions, participants will explore how peer learning can help transform shared challenges into actionable insights and future collaboration.
Whether you are already part of the Coalition or considering joining, this online launch event is an opportunity to learn more about the Coalition and discover how CO-WATERS can support your territory’s sustainable blue transition.
