The European Commission has published the amended Horizon Europe Work Programmes 2023-24, along with a new Annotated Grant Agreement to guide applicants and beneficiaries.

The aim of the amendment is to foster research and innovation supporting civil security for society and renewable energy by increasing the budget of existing calls and adding new topics. This amendment allocates an additional €50 million to the Work Programme to boost support to civil security for society, along with a further €14 million in 2023 to promote European global leadership in renewable energy. With this amendment, the Commission has also made technical adjustments to other parts of the work programmes.

Additionally, a new version of the draft Annotated Grant Agreement to help explain the EU Model Grant Agreements for the EU funding programmes 2021-2027 to applicants and beneficiaries has been published.
