International workshop on Emerging policy challenges on New SOil contaminants (ENSOr)

The 5th international edition of the ENSOR workshop will focus on the challenges related to diffuse soil pollution with emerging contaminants. This workshop will tackle questions about the impact of diffuse soil pollution on the reuse of excavated soil, on ground water supplies and food safety. It will also zoom into how to monitor and assess the risks, and the policies needed to tackle challenges such as diffuse pollution resulting from emissions from traffic, agricultural practices (e.g. fertilizers and plant protection products), discharges of WWTPs and floods.

Biodiversity and Marine Protection in EUSAIR: A Contribution to EU Biodiversity Strategy 2030

The Slovenian Business & Research Association is hosting an event "Biodiversity and Marine Protection in EUSAIR: A contribution to EU biodiversity strategy 2030".The event will focus on biodiversity and marine protection set within the expansive scope of the European Union Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR). Additionally, the event will present a tentative contribution to implementing the ambitious EU Biodiversity Strategy 2030.

New Bauhaus Stories, Episode #1: Co-design of regeneration schemes

The NEBULA project is organising a series of peer learning activities to share experiences and insights about the New European Bauhaus. The first episode is entitled: “Co-creation of regeneration schemes’. It aims to discuss how two ongoing urban regeneration schemes are being co-designed in collaboration with citizens and various stakeholders from the construction value chain.

European Research and the EU Missions?: European Mission Network (EMIN) and Mutual Learning Event (MLE)

The TRAMI Project, in partnership with UnILion, are hosting an inspiring European Mission Network (EMIN) and Mutual Learning Event (MLE) focused on the role of European Research in the EU Missions on 12 March from 09:00-14:00 in Brussels. Pirita Lindholm, ERRIN's Director, will be speaking at the session entitled "Is there a bright future for the EU Missions in the FP10?".

The Transition Pathway for Mobility was launched on 26 January and offers many opportunities to bring the industrial ecosystem together to find common solutions to upcoming challenges. A representative from DG GROW will join this Transport WG meeting to present the initiative and the opportunities for members.

Second EU Blue Parks Community Workshop, part of Mission Oceans & Waters

The second workshop of the EU Blue Parks Community will be held as an in-person event in Brussels on 7 March 2024, alongside the Mission Forum and the European Ocean Days. The workshop aims to foster a comprehensive understanding of the effective management of EU Marine Protected Areas, bringing together experts and stakeholders from across European sea-basins.

2nd European Mission Forum

The second edition of the European Mission Forum, taking place on 7 March in Brussels and co-organised by the TRAMI project under the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU, will showcase EU Mission-related achievements and present outcomes of nearly 2 years of TRAMI project activities. ERRIN's director, Pirita Lindholm, will speak at the session on national, regional and European Mission Governance.

The conference will showcase the collaborative efforts, providing a platform to share the achievements and project outcomes and engage in discussions surrounding the sustainability of the results.
